I wasn't sure if I should post any jaded bullshit about 9/11. That would be in even poorer taste than my other posts. Not by much, though.
So instead I decided to share with you two of the best quotes regarding that tragic day 5 years ago. One is from Jerry Falwell, the other Norman Mailer. Both are notorious foot-n-mouthers and thumb-n-assers.
From Stormin' Norman
"The WTC was not just an architectural monstrosity, but also terrible for people who didn't work there, for it said to all those people: 'If you can't work up here, boy, you're out of it.' That's why I'm sure that if those towers had been destroyed without loss of life, a lot of people would have cheered. Everything wrong with America led to the point where the country built that tower of Babel, which consequently had to be destroyed. And then came the next shock. We had to realize that the people that did this were brilliant. It showed that the ego we could hold up until September 10 was inadequate."
From Jesus Jerry
"I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People For the American Way, all of them who have tried to secularize America. I point the finger in their face and say 'you helped this happen.'"
The only thing worse from those two would be a video of them mating like swine.
Oh, yeah, just like that. Now squeeeeal like a pig, Brother Norm!!!
